Recently we had a guest speaker, Mr. Colaizzo, who came to talk to us about his adventures in Africa. He brought pictures of his climbing expedition up Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. He also shared his experience going to the Summer Olympics and gave each sixth grader an Olympic pin.
Science class is really becoming a 'blast' as we learn about volcanoes!
Our Exploratory rotation has been happening for a few weeks now. Students have the chance to socialize with some of their friends on other teams. And once a week, it is kickball time! Every team takes a turn in the gym during Exploratory time!
